Privacy Policy

Short version: this site is static HTML. It sets no cookies of its own, it runs no analytics, and it has no account, no login and no database. Nothing you do here is recorded by us.

What we collect

Nothing. There is no form on this site, no newsletter, no tracking pixel and no first-party cookie. Which pages you read stays between you and your browser.

Server logs

The company that hosts these pages keeps standard web-server logs — IP address, the page requested, the time, the browser string — in the ordinary course of running a server. That is the hosting provider's processing, not ours, and we do not analyse it.

Third parties, and exactly when they are involved

• Viator and GetYourGuide. Only when you click a booking link. At that point you leave this site and their own privacy policies apply. The link carries a tracking code so the platform can credit the referral — see the affiliate disclosure.
• Google Maps. The map on the map page does not load until you press the button. Nothing is requested from Google before that click, which is why there is no cookie banner on this site: there is nothing to consent to until you ask for it.
• Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Both verify that we own this domain and report aggregate search statistics to us. Neither places anything in your browser.

Fonts, scripts and images

Everything is served from this domain. There is no web font loaded from another host, no analytics library, no chat widget and no advertising script. The only JavaScript on any page is a few lines that work out the date shown beside "Updated".

Children

This site is aimed at adults planning travel and collects nothing from anyone, so it collects nothing from children either.

Changes

If this ever stops being true — if an analytics tool or an embed is added — this page changes first and says what and when.
